They are the auctioning of storage units that have either been abandoned or the rent has fallen to far behind that the storage facility needs the contents gone so they can re rent the unit. They auction the contents of to the highest bidder. The Highest bidder must then remove everything from the unit and leave it in a clean useable state.

These auctions can only be bid on online. The Buyer must be registered and then bid online using there website. These auctions contain all sorts of items. Storage auctions are like a lucky dip. The items you see in the unit that you want or might think hold some value, might not be the best thing you find in the Unit. Normally the things out of sight or buried in a box are the real treasures.
